What's a CGM?Updated a year ago

CGM refers to Continuous Glucose Monitoring. There are currently two major manufacturers with FDA-approved CGM devices:

1) Abbott (FreeStyle Libre)

2) Dexcom

The CGM comes in the form of a sensor that gets applied and stays on your skin. A sensor lasts about 10-14 days, depending on the model.

Just as a Fitbit can track your activities, a CGM device can track your body's glucose responses to different foods, how they raise blood sugar or lead to an energy slump. This information can help you make better food choices to power you throughout the day.

Stabilizing your blood sugar can help you optimize wellbeing.
